In the past, it was recommended that pharmaceuticals be flushed away. This is no longer the case as studies reveal this can be harmful to water supplies. Water treatment plants do not remove pharmaceuticals from the water supply.

What is the cost of your opinion?

When you buy groceries or clothing, stores issue a receipt with a number to call or a website to visit for your chance to win something if you will answer a few questions and give your opinion. This results in an extra long receipt for the added information or sometimes an extra strip of paper for you to deal with. I find all of this extra receipt paper annoying as it becomes paper clutter.
